Love Potion, Number Mine: A Halloween Romance Short Story by Laura Ophelia“Sounds like I’ll have to take you to the witch’s shop in old town.”
“Um… witch’s shop?
“Yeah,” Ryan said, like it was the most natural thing in the world. “It’s actually one of the few places around here I’ve never been to. But the owner comes in for donuts sometimes, a really sweet old lady.”
“Okay, but, like… a witch’s shop.”
Ryan laughed again. The sound was addicting. “Yeah, that’s what she calls it. Not to be confused with a magic shop, you know, with tricks and gag gifts. This is the real stuff.” He winked.
Lacey is brand new in town and ready for new beginnings. She’s excited to experience the true chill of the autumn season – but past that, she has no idea what she needs, or even wants. Luckily, the town “witch” seems to know what’s best for her: the adorably handsome, devilishly sexy guy Lacey met on her very first day.
Neither are convinced that magic is real, but they’re not sure it matters, either. Is a “love potion” enough to drive Lacey and Ryan into each other’s arms?
Love Potion, Number Mine is a sugary sweet, clean romance coming in at 6000 words. It’s the perfect quick read for fall – wrap up in a warm blanket, get cozy, and let the magic take you away.

My first one was some gruesome Intestine Jelly which you can find a link to here and this one is a selection of jars, decorated to look like Witches Potion Ingredient jars.
