Rehearsals for the play, which is set to begin its first run in July, have now begun and the strong team of actors, producers and creatives all came together for a group shot. The full cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play has been revealed after rehearsals officially began for the hotly anticipated production. The stage show - a continuation of the popular novels and movie series - announced the three leads back in December and have now rounded out the whole team. According to an announcement on the Pottermore site more characters will be revealed in due course, with the full list of names including several child actors "who will alternate between roles". The Cursed Child will focus on Harry - now an "overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children" - and his middle child, Albus Severus, who struggles with his family's legacy as he begins at Hogwarts. The stage play introduces us to an older Harry Potter and a new adventure in JK Rowling's wizarding world. Jamie Parker is the first actor to play Harry Potter in the stage play. Parker has appeared on stage in the original production of "The History Boys" and its film adaptation and in various Shakespeare plays. He also had a small role in Tom Cruise film "Valkyrie". Poppy Miller plays the adult Ginny Potter, now married to Harry. Harry's old school bully Draco Malfoy is now a bearded adult.
