Unleash the Power of Praise and Thanksgiving
Today we are seeing a shift from the Charismatic move to the fresh, anointed, deeper and more balanced move of the Spirit. It has been largely birthed by the Spirit in the wilderness. However, He has also been at work where He is permitted to do so in the established church. Observe how worship changed at Hatfield and the season of revival which they entered. Many throughout the world entered the wilderness in the 80's and after. This occurred after the Faith movement of the 70's. The extent of this wilderness movement is staggering and I have personally encountered many who have been taken by the Lord into the wilderness.
PRAYING FOR REVIVAL
Have you ever met a Christian who always seems to be full of joy and gladness—someone who always exhibits the joy of the Lord both in the good times and the bad? A believer who is always full of joy has learned the secret of living a life of praise to God. Our praise life is closely connected to our faith life, because praise is an expression of faith.
We are so blessed in the United States to have Thanksgiving as a national observance to thank God and honor Him for all He has given us. As Christians, we are called to unleash the power of praise and thanksgiving every day of the year. What power? The power to defeat the devil and unlock victory! Remember when Paul and Silas were locked up in the bowels of a prison?
An effective prayer life is built on the Word of God. Always take scripture with you to prayer because then you can be assured you will getting results. If He prompts you to pray in a particular direction, be sensitive to follow His leading. He is your great helper. It seems He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him to. The earnest heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
