Andi Dorfman responds to Josh Murray's claim that her book is a 'fictional novel'
Though she's not on Bachelor in Paradise , former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's presence has loomed over the whole season. Ever since Josh Murray came in and staked his claim on single mom Amanda Stanton, members of the beach house have been whispering about the damning quotes in Dorfman's book. Things came to a head this week when twins Emily and Hayley Ferguson voluntarily left the show, and before they walked away, they tearfully told Amanda to "be careful" with Josh. Once Josh found out, he called the entire crowd to the beach and finally had it out with Nick Viall, who had told the twins and Amanda, at one point that he didn't trust Josh. Well, it's not great.
The ladies of Bachelor in Paradise were all aflutter when Josh Murray appeared on the island to which I say: why? Both men were the final two during Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, though Josh wound up receiving the final rose in the end. He and Andi got engaged, but their relationship was tumultuous and their engagement ended after nine months. Then Andi wrote a tell-all book that was pretty open about what went wrong between them. But what did Andi Dorfman's book say about Josh? Andi definitely didn't hold back when it came to explaining why her engagement with Josh didn't work out.
So it came as no surprise when Murray publicly denounced the work as a "fictional novel. I just wanted to make sure I was right in that a novel is always fictional. Got it. Okay, cool. My response is that there's no such thing as a non-fictional novel," she said in an exclusive interview with AOL. But she realized there was something missing.

Former Atlanta prosecutor and "Bachelorette" contestant Andi Dorfman holds nothing back in her surprisingly riveting new book "It's Not Okay," eviscerating her former fiance Josh Murray , calling him an "emotional abuser" with a nasty temper and a jealous streak. On the show and in public in , former Atlanta-based baseball player Josh Murray came across as the "perfect" boyfriend: kind, passionate, compassionate and supportive of Dorfman's career and her signature feistiness. But once the cameras were gone and true reality set in, fissures opened up quickly. In her book, she painted Murray as an insecure control freak more concerned about himself than her. Among his sins, according to her: he'd critique her use of social media, prohibiting her from "friending" males, became easily jealous when she talked to any guys and was unforgiving about her sleeping with "Bachelorette" runner up Nick Viall although they were not an official couple at that point. It's free but RSVP here. Dorfman knew it was over in late October, at a friend's wedding.
