Guardians Of The Galaxy FCBD 2014 by Brian Michael Bendis5 ⭐
This comic has three stories. One with the Guardians of the Galaxy, one with Thanos, and one with Spiderman from old times.
The first one-shot has Tony Stark describing each of the Guardians to Venom. Venom agrees to be a liasion from Earth for the Guardians.
The next one shot has Thanos wonder about mysteries that he still isnt able to solve. He attempts to have a conversation with Drax but Drax doesnt want to. Thanos isnt able to see Mistress Death or the Infinity Well or there will be consequences.
The last one-shot has a medieval Spiderman perform for a group. He then asks them to wrestle him. No one succeeds until Morlun arrives. He surprises Spiderman, throws him far away, and then kills him. Morlun says he is going to kill all the spiders.
I enjoyed this comic. Nice to see Spiderman and the Guardians. Wonder why Thanos thought Drax would want to have a conversation with him after he killed his family. Not sure what to think of Venom.
Road trip Ontario: Let’s all go to the drive-in
If you're planning on hitting the road this summer, stopping at one of the many Ontario drive-in theatres still operating is a great way to get the nostalgia flowing. File photo. Many believe drive-in movie theatres are a thing of the past, but in Ontario there is an abundance of them still operating and showing the latest blockbusters to carloads of people every summer. There are at least 17 drive-in movie theatres still standing from the London area to the Ottawa area. If you are planning on hitting the road this summer , stopping at one to catch a couple of flicks is a great way to get the nostalgia flowing and makes for an excellent family night out.

According to this wikipedia entry it closed in After our chat the other day Bruce Deachman was kind enough to email me some photos. Sadly, drive-in theatres are a dying breed around here. As we sped away from Perth down the pretty highway I was practically writing this post in my head. It was going to be a lovely clear night.
I guess we can just chalk this one up, along with the other peculiar things that we did as teenagers. Luckily no one was hurt, but for the three bucks they each saved on admission, it was a pretty undignified way to arrive at the movies. After all, the Drive-In had been open for a long time before any of us had ventured there. The article stated that it was the first to be fabricated in this district, and it was built by Gordon White of Ottawa for W. Williams, of Newboro.
